Dry + wet bait is the best! [Life with Old Cats : vol.2]

Currently, I am working remotely and taking care of four old cats. At first, I couldn't help it, but even though I was struggling to take care of a pet I wasn't used to, I found myself getting addicted to it.

It used to be inefficient due to uneaten bait and was expensive, but with a little ingenuity, it was greatly improved, so I'll show you how to do it!

I use two types of food: dry food and wet food.

I feed them two types of food: the dry food "Neko Genki Fish Mix (Unicharm)'' and the wet food "Bonito tuna lean meat plain (Cainz)''. I continue to do the same thing I did when I took over cat care from my father.

Only dry food is left uneaten..

I put dry food and wet food in each cat's dish, but they ended up eating only the wet food, which had excellent lean tuna meat, and left the dry food uneaten. As a result, only expensive wet food was consumed, and uneaten food was wasted, which was inefficient.

If so, I tried mixing dry and wet..

So I bought a mixing bowl and mixed the dry food with the wet food before giving it to the cats, and all of them finished their food!

I had no idea that mixing these together to create a dry food of "Bonito tuna lean meat'' tast would improve a cat's appetite so much. In addition, since the amount of wet food required is only needed for "Bonito tuna lean meat'' tast, the amount consumed is reduced and costs are reduced. What's more, the condition of her stool has improved, probably because she has started eating dry food with good nutritional balance.
